HUBER+SUHNER’s RADOX® automotive wires and cables are designed for extreme operating conditions, high-temperature environments, and high mechanical resistance requirements. They are mainly used in the engine compartment, for example as power supply wires for radiator fans, battery cables for internal combustion engines in buses and trucks, or as signal and sensor wires for braking systems and other key components.
The origin of HUBER and SUHNER dates back to 1864; the merger in 1968 created a company with a long tradition of innovation, maintaining its leadership in metallic, radio frequency, and optical connectivity for demanding applications.
We supply high-end RADOX® cables for automotive applications, which ensure reliable and error-free signal transmission even in extreme conditions. High resistance to temperatures and chemical effects make RADOX® cables the ideal choice for modern vehicles and their advanced electronic systems.
There is a special variant available – anti-capillary conductors – which prevent liquids (water, AdBlue, fuels, etc.) from getting between the copper core and the conductor insulation, where the capillary effect would then lead to the rise and unwanted penetration of liquid into places with electronics, etc. In the case of our anti-capillary conductors, there is no need to use expensive special measures in the manufacture of harnesses – the conductor can be fitted with a standard crimp.
