simulation of magnetic circuits

We perform 2D as well as 3D simulations of magnetic circuits using the finite element method (MKP, FEM). By means of this method, we usually calculate magnetic field intensity, magnetic induction, holding force, and torque for applications with permanent magnets. Calculations of magnetic fields are suitable for searching the optimal structural design during the development of new equipment or optimisation of existing designs. Simulations help estimate the behaviour of magnetic circuits where measurements on a physical sample cannot be performed.

we address the following tasks

  • simulation of arbitrary magnetic circuits
  • calculation of attractive forces between solids
  • torque calculation for magnetic couplings
  • calculation of electromagnetic circuit of rotating machines
