We mainly focus on the potting of stator windings placed freely or in a frame. Vacuum potting technology can also be used for other products and assemblies, such as permanent-magnet rotors or other electronic components. We use a vacuum-based mixing dosing machine system, which ensures casting with stable results during sampling and batch production. Stator potting is a process in which a resin or insulating material is applied to the winding of a stator of an electric motor. This procedure is intended to provide additional mechanical protection and ensure better heat dissipation in harsh conditions. Stators with potted windings are widely used in applications where winding protection is important and where high heat dissipation requirements are required.
One-component and two-component resins are used for potting stators. The choice of the appropriate resin for the potting of windings depends on the requirements for operating temperature, chemical resistance, mechanical resistance, and equipment life. It is important to conduct thorough tests to evaluate which resin best meets the requirements of the application.
